subcrew-2010-spring-summer-preview-1

Subcrew drops a sneak peak into their Spring/Summer 2010 collection. So far it looks to be crisp and clean by using nice summer inspired tones. The chosen location and overall mood of the collection makes me hate the cold and anxious for the laid back summer lifestyle. Hit the link for more pictures.

“Thanks to the good guys over at BLVCK SCVLE, we have a look at their Spring 2010 line entitled “The Intuition Experiment.” Sticking to their trademark aesthetic, the lineup consists of strong graphics as well as some old classics that were revitalized. Part I includes tee’s and fleece while Part II will include cut and sew like short sleeve oxfords amongst other things.”

Check out the link for a sample of the collection.

“Finally we get a clean look at the upcoming Parra x Nike Air Max 1. The burgundy sneaker comes with a mix of mesh and suede on the upper and the accents are of course set in Parra signature colors. The Parra logo appears on the tongue. The sneaker matches the Parra jackets that were released last year. The sneaker will drop on March 13th at Patta.”

A dope collaboration by two dope brands.

“This February, Vans and Hellz come together to release 2 limited edition styles: The Hadley and The Sophie. The Hadley is inspired by my love of vintage motorcycle boots with zippers and metal lace eye hooks detailing the black leather high top, whereas the Sophie is an updated saddle shoe that’s been stripped down and built from the ground up with Hellz’s unique design aesthetic: Die cuts, metallic color blocking and buckle strap details. Check out the video here above for some more background information on this unique collaboration!”

“Following up its recent collaboration with Crooks & Castles, Us Versus Them puts out another video, this time for the release of its collaboration with fellow West Coast brand, Black Scale. Working from a concept created by Mega and Us Versus Them designer Graham Nystrom, the brand’s applied a signature hand drawn style, pulling inspiration from the cryptic crests and symbolism of old European architecture. Aiming to keep the true meaning of the symbolism cloudy, the graphic is centered around the Ourobouros, an ancient symbol of a serpent eating itself, which is said to represent death and rebirth, and the phrase “La Guerra Clandestina”, meaning The Secret War, lends a heavy feeling to the project.”

The tees and crewnecks can be found at the Black Scale flagship store and Versus stores.
